The Wales Home offers adults a safe and secure environment in which to convalesce after a hospital stay. The hospital social worker can contact us to arrange for nursing care, or physical or occupational therapy.
Respite Care:
The Wales Home offers a wonderful opportunity for short stays. If a family member would like to try out the Home, or if you would like to find a place for your loved one to stay while you are on vacation, they are welcome! This allows busy families to have a break from taking care of their family member, and the family member to come and enjoy the company of their peers. The services your loved one would enjoy during a short stay at The Wales Home are the same as the services normally provided in a bachelorette, infirmary, Alzheimer or ambulatory unit. Seniors also enjoy a free cable hook-up during their stay.

Visitor Accommodations:
| If your family comes from far and they need a place to stay while they visit you, the Wales Home can offer them a place to stay. We provide bed and breakfast accommodation for a small fee. This allows you to spend more quality time with your loved ones without their having to leave the building. |
