Providing Quality Care

At the Wales Home, it's all about providing a continuum of care for seniors, giving them a “homelike environment” accompanied by quality care and services delivered with compassion and integrity. As the Wales home is a not for profit organization, a very appreciated and generous donation was recently given in memory of Mrs. Ethel Dean. This donation was specifically made for the purchase of a new laser for our therapy department. This MedX laser and light therapy will allow increased circulation and will reduce acute or chronic pain as well as inflammation and swelling. It will strengthen and repair bone and soft tissue and increase mobility and muscle function for our residents who suffer from arthritis, strains and sprains, inflammatory conditions and bone fractures. Thanks to this incredible donation from the late Mrs. Deans’ family the Résidence Wales Home continues to be an outstanding home for the elderly in our community and can provide a tradition of quality care.
